  • 1 sheet parchment paper
  • 1 ink pen ink color corresponding to the candle color
  • moon water (water left out to charge under the moonlight)
  • 1 sage smug stick for purification and to invite positive energy
  • 1 citrine crystal for abundance and success
  • 1 black tourmaline crystal for grounding and protection
  • 1 amethyst crystal for guidance and spiritual insight
  • 1 clear quartz crystal for clarity and amplification

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Your Space: Begin by cleansing your ritual area. Use sage to smudge the space, clearing out any negative energies and setting a protective boundary.
    As you smudge your space with sage, recite: "By this sage, I cleanse this space, Negative energy, leave without a trace. Pure and sacred, this circle be, Protected by light, so mote it be."
  • Candle & Crystal Setup: Place the chosen candle in the center of your cauldron or bowl. Arrange your crystals around the candle to create a circle.
    As you arrange the candle and crystals, say: "With this candle, light so bright, And crystals' power, day and night, I call upon the moon's pure light, To guide my spell with might and sight."
  • Write Your Intentions: On the parchment paper, write down your desires or goals clearly and concisely. Focus deeply on each word, infusing the paper with your personal energy and intention.
  • Fold and Charge: Fold the parchment paper and pass it over the candle flame (be careful not to burn it) and through the smoke of the lavender or sage to charge it with your intentions. Sprinkle a few drops of moon water on the paper.
    As you pass the parchment through the flame and smoke, recite: "Through flame and smoke, I charge this page, With moonlit power, in this stage. Water's touch, intentions pure, Manifest my dreams, I am sure."
  • Ignite Your Intentions: Safely light the paper with the candle flame, allowing it to burn in the cauldron/bowl as you visualize your intentions being released into the universe. As it burns, imagine your desires manifesting into reality.
    As you light the paper, visualize, and recite: "With this flame, my desires ignite, Sent to the universe, taking flight. Burning bright, my dreams set free, Manifest my will, so mote it be."
  • Seal the Spell: Once the paper is completely burned, say a closing affirmation: "By the new moon’s light, I set my intentions tonight. Universe align, bring what’s right, swiftly into my sight."
  • Extinguish the Candle: Safely extinguish the candle. You can snuff it out rather than blowing it to keep the magic intact.

Notes

  • Timing is Key: For best results, perform this spell at night during the new moon when the moon is not visible in the sky. This is a time for setting new goals and intentions.
  • Keep Intentions Positive: Focus on positive affirmations and avoid negative words like "not" or "don't." For example, say "I attract abundance effortlessly" instead of "I won't be poor."
  • Dispose of Remains Appropriately: After the ritual, dispose of the ash by burying it outside or in a plant to symbolize growth. You can carry the crystals with you or place them in a significant area to maintain their energy.
